Stéphane Sabatier

Stéphane is a Partner with Winston & Strawn in Paris. He represents French and foreign companies, financial institutions, and other investors on a full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters with a particular focus on highly complex domestic, cross-border, and multijurisdictional transactions. He also acts on M&A transactions, strategic alliances and business transactions, including in the context of public tender offers, whether friendly or unsolicited, “merger of equals”, joint ventures or cooperation agreements, in France and abroad.

Stéphane also has significant experience with securities and capital market transactions, particularly in the context of securities issuances and offerings in connection with public offerings or private placements. This expertise and practice includes support to his clients on all legal, regulatory and contractual aspects related to these market transactions.

Stéphane advises companies and investors in connection with, inter alia, corporate governance, shareholder activism and public corporate communication issues.

He represents leading French and foreign companies in a wide range of industries, including aeronautics, automotive, defense, financial services and banking, food & beverage, luxury goods, life sciences and health care, media, retail & consumer products, technology, and innovation.
